You must be
wondering why I chose this name for my
blog. Well I am going to be totally
honest, after my blog “A moment in time with a guardian angel” I just felt that it was me, but it is not
what I am currently going thru, and to be honest, I don’t see myself as a
guardian angel, I know my friends will disagree with me. But back to the name of this blog. I sent a message to my dear friend Cobie and
told her that I want to blog again, but I am looking for a name for the
blog. She, being this creative friend of
mine (and who also loves writing but shhhhh, don’t tell anyone, she still too
shy to admit it) She gave me two names,
and the name “Many Battles to Victory” just seemed like the right name for this blog.
So here is to the
first of many blog entries, but not only will this be our journey of hope and
courage while hubby is fighting his cancer battle, but it is also of our fun
times and times spent with family and friends, because making memories to last
a lifetime is all we have left.
And making memories
is the most important thing we need to do. Doctors did not have much hope when they told hubby (who is fighting lung and bone cancer
both at stage 4) that he had 6 months to live without treatment, but with
treatment he will live 2 – maybe 5 years.
And will we have made it so far. And that was in 2016.... We are already in 2018. What an amazing God do we serve
